Kathleen Rose, CRE, and Brian Dolehide, CRE, will represent the CRE Consulting Corps at the Conference for Catholic Facility Management (CCFM) on May 5 in Baltimore.  Along with Deacon Tom Croke of the Philadelphia Archdiocese, they will present three compelling case studies that will showcase approaches to portfolio assessment, adaptive reuse, and disposition in challenging and changing markets, including those with immigrant populations.

Last spring, the CRE Consulting Corps provided its expertise to the leadership of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in West University Place, Texas, on how to best leverage its real property assets to meet the institution’s operational and long-term goals. In this audio interview with Bill Brownfield, CRE, go behind the scenes to learn about how he identified this Consulting Corps opportunity, as well as the challenges the team was presented with and the assessments and recommendations that resulted from its work.

John J. Leary, CRE, met in London last fall with fellow members of the Standards Setting Committee of the International Ethics Standards Coalition.  The IESC—with the help of several Counselors including Bill McCarthy, CRE, Steve Norris, CRE, Giuliano Gasparini, CRE, Hiroyuki Isobe, CRE, James Hannoch, CRE, and Bob McKennon, CRE—has created a universal set of ethics principles for real estate and related professions. Mr. Leary has been chairman of the Standards Setting Committee since 2015.
