I oversee a national team in the execution of diverse real estate projects with an emphasis on fundamental valuation and appraisal, as well as engagements involving due diligence and feasibility analysis. In my current role, I operate on a national and international basis with an understanding and familiarity with all types of residential and commercial property types. As it relates to particular expertise, I am a national resource on specialty asset classes including ski resorts, entertainments properties, and telecommunications networks, providing guidance and producing appraisals for a variety of uses including financial reporting and federal income tax purposes. As much of my work is in the non-conventional asset space, I work with several telecommunications infrastructure companies and entertainment REITs, as they contemplate additional investments, undergo additional consolidation, and contemplate potential REIT conversion/qualification status under dynamic and evolving Private Letter Ruling guidelines. I am also called upon to act as an internal real estate specialist on audit engagements, reviewing valuations for financial reporting.
