Director of Development – Greenland USA
In his role as Director of Development at Greenland USA in Los Angeles, Mr. Aubry oversees government approvals, public/private partnerships, retail leasing and community outreach. He managed the re-entitlement approval process for the $1 billion Metropolis project. Mr. Aubry also leads Greenland USA’s acquisition efforts in Southern California.
Prior to joining Greenland USA, Mr. Aubry served as Senior Vice President at Kosmont Companies, a leading California real estate advisory firm focused on effectuating successful public/private transactions. At Kosmont, he was involved with the structuring of ground lease transactions and site specific tax revenue financing mechanisms to support the public benefit elements of public/private projects. Mr. Aubry also held a senior position at an urban planning and policy firm led by the renowned urban planner, William Fulton. While there, Mr. Aubry managed infill and transit-oriented development policy studies for the City of Los Angeles, CRA/LA, and the County of Los Angeles.
Mr. Aubry received Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Geography from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, serving on the ULI-Los Angeles Advisory Board and participating on the national Public/Private Partnership Product Council.
