Abstract: In many ways, the relationship of the attorney and the real estate counselor is enigmatic. Few professional relationships are as effective or beneficial to the client or as rewarding to the participants. At the same time, few are as misunderstood and underutilized. In this article, the authors, both seasoned real estate counselors, describe the many benefits available to a client when the services of both a counselor and lawyer are employed to represent a client.
