Abstract: Renewable energy has emerged as the panacea for policymakers and environmentalists alike, as they seek to counter threats to a stable climate posed by most types of economic growth. This article discusses the economic and locational context of “renewable energy,” reviewing how such power is generated, and then explores the unique real estate implications posed by the proliferation of “renewables.”
