Fall/Winter 1993, Vol 18, No 2

Abstract: This article discusses the role of an owner’s representative in the acquisition, disposition and adaptation of real estate for non-profit organizations. The owner’s representative receives full delegation from the employer but otherwise acts as a traditional real estate counselor. The relationship between the owner’s representative and the law firm employed to handle the transaction is discussed especially the methods used by these two functionaries to work together on behalf of their client.
