(Chicago)–November 17, 2015–Edward W. Dinan III, CRE®, president, Dinan Real Estate Advisors, Inc., St. Louis, has been awarded the 2015 Committee Service Award by The Counselors of Real Estate (CRE) professional association. The honor, which recognizes Dinan’s exemplary dedication to committee service, was presented at the invitation-only organization’s recent annual convention in Charlotte, N.C.
During his 19 years of membership, Dinan has served as a national leader in the role of liaison vice chair, in which he oversaw the work of the Membership, Chapter Activities and Invitation Advisory committees. Most recently, he has served as CRE Member Liaison, is a member of the CRE Board of Directors and is a Trustee for The CRE Foundation.
Dinan is a graduate of Rockhurst College, Kansas City, Mo., and in addition to his Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) credential, he holds an MAI certification from the Appraisal Institute. Dinan is an approved fee appraiser for the U.S. Department of Justice, Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Missouri Department of Highways and Transportation, Illinois Department of Transportation and the Probate Court of St. Louis City among numerous other government agencies. He is also qualified as an expert witness.
He has participated as a guest lecturer on real estate appraising at Washington University, several Missouri State Universities, and has been a lectured speaker for the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, as well as several financial institutions. In addition, he serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Louis County Library Foundation and the Marianist Retreat and Conference Center Board.

The CRE Committee Service Award provides official recognition of exemplary committee or task force service. Established in 1996 by CRE George Lovejoy, the award recipient is selected by the chair of the board in collaboration with The Counselors of Real Estate’s president.
