(CHICAGO)–May 13, 2015–Noah D. Shlaes, CRE®, Senior Managing Director, Global Corporate Services, Newmark Grubb Knight Frank, Chicago, will speak May 21 at MIPIM Japan 2015, Asia’s largest international real estate conference, which is being held in Tokyo. He is representing The Counselors of Real Estate® professional association, where he is the organization’s 2015 Chair of the Board.
Mr. Shlaes is speaking about the role of real estate counselors/advisors in global real estate decision making. Members of The Counselors of Real Estate are high-profile, objective real estate advisors who reside in the United States of America and 23 other countries or U.S. territories. Admission to the organization is by invitation only; just 1,100 real estate leaders around the world currently hold the CRE® credential.
Two Tokyo-based members of The Counselors organization will join Mr. Shlaes at the podium: Hiroyuki Isobe, CRE, President, Japan Valuers Co., Ltd, and Managing Director of the Japan Association of Real Estate Counselors (JAREC) — who will moderate the discussion — and Masayuki Yoshimura, CRE, CEO/Founder, Yoshimura Planning and Appraisal Company, Ltd.
Mr. Shlaes, who focuses on corporate real estate decision support, advises multinational corporations about market efficiencies and is widely published on technology topics. In his 25 years in real estate, he has advised international banks, utilities, manufacturing companies, railroads, universities and state governments.
Mr. Shlaes’ session will take place on May 21 at 2:00 pm during the conference at The Prince Park Tower in Tokyo.
