Karen has over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate development and management, with over 25 years working directly with universities and other non-profit institutionswas on mission-driven real estate initiatives. At GW, Karen is responsible for the strategy and management of over $1B of investment real estate as well as institutional real estate assets, including land and real estate holdings, at the University's Virginia Science & Technology Center in Ashburn, Virginia. Prior to joining GW in 2018, Karen was Principal of KZB Advisors, a consulting practice specializing in working with Colleges, Universities, and other non-profit institutions.
