Her successful career has spanned more than 40 years in Western Canada, the USA, Europe and the Philippines. Building communities is an important value to Mercedes Wong. In past years, she served as: *vice-chair, Counselor of Real Estate (CRE) Canada Chapter; and *past president and president of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Vancouver Canada Association. Mercedes has actively served her community in past years as: *Chair of the Philippines Canada Trade Council; *President of the Rotary Club of Vancouver Fraserview; *Vice President of the CCIM Institute Region 12 Canada; *President of the Commercial Division for the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver; *Chair of Strata Council for the Yaletown Galleria; *Director/Treasurer of the Aboriginal Mother Centre Society in Vancouver; *Director of G&F Financial Group (also known as Gulf and Fraser Credit Union).
