A Closer Look
Ross Stackhouse is the Senior Vice President at Tidewater Capital. His primary responsibilities include managing the firm's operations and directing Tidewater's market research and investment strategy. Mr. Stackhouse also sits on Tidewater's Investment Committee and directs many of its philanthropic and community engagement activities. Before joining Tidewater, Mr. Stackhouse worked for The JBG Companies in Washington, D.C., where he led a variety of residential, office, hotel, and retail investments including the management of new acquisitions and support of numerous development and asset management projects. Mr. Stackhouse also oversaw the firm's market research platform during his time at JBG. Mr. Stackhouse sits on the Board of Directors of the Tenderloin Equitable Development Partnership as its Secretary and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, SPUR, and the United States Green Building Council. He is a LEED Accredited Professional with a specialty in Building Design and Construction. A native of lower Manhattan in New York City, Mr. Stackhouse holds a Bachelor of the Arts with Honors in Environmental Studies from Brown University. He is passionate about sustainable development, creative land use, and the evolution of vibrant urban environments.
