James O’Neil is an Executive Director within Cushman & Wakefield's Valuation & Advisory group. Mr. O’Neil performs and reviews appraisal assignments for all commercial property types, oversees C&W Atlanta’s Financial Reporting Practice, and is the National Leader of C&W’s Sports and Entertainment Specialty Practice. His areas of concentration include all fields of General Commercial appraisal including, going-concern valuations, valuation for financial reporting (GAAP & IFRS), fair value measurements (ASC Topic 820), purchase price allocations (ASC Topic 805) , capital leases (ASC Topic 840), and reorganizations (ASC Topic 852), and complex property appraisals. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, he was employed as a Valuation Manager within the real estate valuation practice of KPMG, LLP.
