A Closer Look
I'm a real estate entrepreneur who loves to teach. An internationally recognized expert on real estate, I routinely speak on current trends in real estate markets, investing in real estate, the future of cities, and how technological innovations such as artificial intelligence are reshaping the built environment. I graduated from Harvard College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a Master of Science in Real Estate Development. My areas of focus include real estate private equity and syndications. I’ve been hired by the Federal Trade Commission as an expert witness in real estate matters and as a real estate subject matter expert by Harvard Business School Online. Along the way, I’ve always made time to teach. I’ve taught 115 courses at the Harvard Division of Continuing Education with a cumulative enrollment of over 15,000 students. I developed and teach three of the four required courses for Harvard Extension School’s Real Estate Investment Certificate. To date, over 7,200 Harvard students have taken my real estate courses. In addition to being a CRE, I’m a licensed real estate broker and hold CCIM, CPM, and CAPS designations. I’m also certified in the commercial real estate valuation, asset management, and development software programs ARGUS Enterprise and ARGUS Developer. I sit on the boards of directors of the Harvard Real Estate Alumni Board (HAREB), the Colorado Association of REALTORS (CAR), and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Greater Denver.
