Mark M. Murakami, a partner in the Hawaii-based law firm Damon Key Leong Kupchak Hastert, is an experienced attorney providing a wide array of counseling and legal services relating to real estate. He has represented landowners, lenders and associations in state and federal courts in Hawaii, both through trial and appeal, in land use, entitlements, land value, and commercial lease disputes. Mark was Valedictorian of his class at the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawaii and received numerous academic awards. He is an Honors Graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and served for thirteen years on active duty and twelve in the Reserve, currently holding the rank of Captain. He is President of the Hawaii Children's Action Network, Vice President of the I'm a Bright Kid Foundation and was the elected Treasurer of the Hawaii State Bar Association for three years.
