Susan Brustien Macgregor-Scott has managed the global corporate real estate portfolios for pre-eminent financial services organizations for over 20 years. Susan has realized their strategic and financial goals through negotiation and the oversight of the execution of transactions in 80+ countries. Ms. Macgregor-Scott has overseen and negotiated leases with values of over $6.0 billion, acquisitions of $5.0 billion and sales of $3.5 billion. Her financial structuring has yielded over $2.7 billion in P&L savings. She has led teams to develop headquarters buildings on four continents, managed departments of over 300 people and budgets of over $3.0 billion. Currently, Ms. Macgregor-Scott is a Managing Director and the Global Head of Transactions for Citigroup. Here she oversees over 1400 active transactions in a portfolio of 76 million square. Among them, the acquisition of the London and NY headquarters, the largest leasing transaction in New York in 25 years, new HQ buildings in Mumbai and Jakarta and build to suit centers in the Philippines, Hong Kong and Chennai. From 2006 until 2011, Ms. Macgregor-Scott ran portions of Bank of America’s 124 million square foot portfolio. Prior to Bank of America, she was commercial real estate broker serving the telecom and pension industries as well as a consultant on mixed used development and a structured finance product. Ms. Macgregor-Scott is currently a member of the Advisory Board of The Schack Institute of Real Estate at NYU. She has served on the boards of Ellerbe Becket, WX New York and MIPIM.
