For the last 22 years, I was a senior institutional reviewer at TIAA, focusing on complex issues and analyses of many or the major investment properties within our $35 billion Real Estate Account s well as other properties. Periodically, i dealt with complex investment issues, providing consulting advise to the asset and investment management teams. My 50 year career began as the Director of Research at the Real Estate Board of New York, followed by a 13 year period with James Felt Realty Services, and 11 years with The Weitzman Group, Inc, two of New York City's top consulting firms. At both firms, I authored or participated in numerous consulting assignments. Over the last 22 years, I was part of the real estate. due diligence team at TIAA (and subsequently it's wholly owned subsidiary, Nuveen) focusing on analysis of acquisitions, dispositions risk management, and market analysis.
