A Closer Look
Daniele Horton, founder and CEO of Verdani Partners, brings over 26 years of expertise in real estate and sustainability. A LEED Fellow, licensed architect, and Certified Energy Manager and CRE. Daniele was recognized as a “Top 10 Most Powerful Woman in Sustainability” in 2014 and a USGBC Shero in 2020. She teaches Sustainable Real Estate at the University of San Diego and holds a master’s from Harvard in Sustainable Development. Daniele also founded the Verdani Institute for the Built Environment (VIBE). Verdani manages ESG programs for large real estate portfolios across 8,900 properties, focusing on decarbonization, resilience, and ESG reporting.
