Julia Hoagland started her career in real estate in 2005 and applies analytical and problem solving skills honed from her previous careers in engineering and finance to create competitive advantages for clients. Maximizing value for real estate transactions requires comprehensive data study, expert marketing, and maximum exposure. As principal of the Julia Hoagland Team, Julia counsels the JHT sales team on industry best practices as well as formulating and implementing transaction and service strategy. JHT has ranked in the top 1% in their office for the last six years and has been locally and nationally ranked by the Wall Street Journal/Real Trends. In addition to guiding and advising her team, Julia serves as a mentor on various counsel-providing committees including the Compass Strategy Committee and the NYRS Executive Committee. JHT is considered an industry leader in investment properties, repositioning stale listings, Artist in Residence zoning, and downtown loft properties. In addition to being a CRE, Julia is a member of the Women's President's Organization (a non-profit membership organization facilitating professional peer groups to accelerate the growth of their businesses), as well as a board member for Brick By Brick (a nonprofit project changing the lives of babies and mothers in Uganda). Julia is passionate about world travel, loves backpacking and snowboarding, and plays piano.
