The Counselors of Real Estate Announces 2024 Leadership

New Jersey’s Anthony DellaPelle, Esq., CRE® Named Global Chair

Chicago, IL, November 30, 2023—The Counselors of Real Estate, a global organization of commercial property advisors, has announced its 2024 leadership team.  Anthony DellaPelle, Esq., CRE, will lead the 1,000-member group as Global Chair beginning January 1.

Mr. DellaPelle is a partner in the law firm of McKirdy, Riskin, Olson, & DellaPelle P. C. in Morris Plains, New Jersey.  He concentrates on eminent domain, condemnation, and redevelopment law, as well as real estate tax appeals.  Mr. DellaPelle is also a certified civil trial attorney and is the only New Jersey attorney selected to the Owners’ Counsel of America, a nationwide association of eminent domain lawyers.  Invited to Counselor membership in 2011, Mr. DellaPelle attended Franklin & Marshall College and earned a JD degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.

John Hentschel, CRE, president of Hentschel Real Estate Services in Abingdon, Maryland, is the First Vice Chair of The Counselors of Real Estate and will assume the chairmanship of the organization in 2025.  Mr. Hentschel is a real estate advisor, appraiser, and broker.  Invited to Counselor membership in 1990, he also holds the FRICS designation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the MAI credential from the Appraisal Institute.

John Baczewski, CPA, CRE, of Summerville, South Carolina, was named Second Vice Chair.  Mr. Baczewski is president of Real Estate Fiduciary Services LLC.  Invited to Counselor membership in 2012, he is an independent fiduciary focusing on conflict resolution, transition management, investment due diligence, and asset management workouts and restructurings.
