Two CRE members – Kathleen Rose, CRE, president and CEO, Rose & Associates Southeast, Davidson, N.C. and Tom Justin, CRE, principal, The Weitzman Group, New York City – spoke in May at the Annual Conference for Catholic Facilities Management in Savannah, Ga. They presented a case study of the CRE Consulting Corps’ project which is helping the Diocese of Charleston, S.C. improve management of its properties and develop strategies for expansion. Lydia Doyle, director of research and planning for the Diocese, co-presented. The CRE Consulting Corps is a public service initiative through which members volunteer their professional expertise to help non-profit, government and educational entities solve complex real estate problems.
