Anthony DellaPelle, CRE, Awarded Coveted Franklin & Marshall Alumni Citation

Morris County attorney Anthony DellaPelle, CRE, has recently been awarded the 2020 Alumni Citation Award from his undergraduate alma mater, Franklin & Marshall College. As a distinguished legal professional, Anthony achieved this coveted recognition for his exemplary record of professional accomplishments and superior leadership within the community. He now joins other F&M alumni, including WWII hero Major Dick Winters, actor Roy Scheider, former HBO CEO Richard Plepler, Reagan Chief of Staff Ken Duberstein, and others, in the College’s “Society of Distinguished Alumni”.

Practicing exclusively in eminent domain, condemnation, redevelopment law, and real estate tax appeals, Anthony has devoted over 30 years of his legal career to consistently delivering results that matter most to his clients. He is a named partner in the Morris Plains, New Jersey law firm of McKirdy, Riskin, Olson & DellaPelle, where he manages the firm’s eminent domain and redevelopment law practice.

Anthony is widely recognized as a leading practitioner in property rights and real estate valuation litigation, is a frequent speaker and lecturer on a variety of property rights topics in New Jersey and nationally, and holds Martindale Hubbell Law Directory’s highest rating – AV.  He has long been recognized by his peers as a “New Jersey Super Lawyer” in the New Jersey Monthly Magazine, being selected by that publication as one of New Jersey’s Top 10 attorneys for 2012, and as one of New Jersey’s Top 100 attorneys every year since 2009.  He received a B.A. degree in Economics and English from Franklin & Marshall College, and his J.D. degree from the Seton Hall University School of Law.

In addition to this most recent distinction, Anthony is also the only New Jersey attorney to serve as a member of Owners Counsel of America, a nationwide association of leading property rights attorneys, and is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court.  He is also member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of the Counselors of Real Estate®, an international group of real estate professionals and leading advisors in complex real estate property matters, and has served in leadership roles on several non-profit and professional association boards.

Anthony and his wife Gwenn are the proud parents of three adult children and reside in Morris Township.
