Abstract: Technological changes affect the way business is conducted in all industries, and real estate is no exception. As the industry has become more Web-based, technological innovations have empowered consumers in their search for information and in their purchase decision-making. The emergence of virtual real estate brokerages puts additional pressure on traditional real estate companies. This article looks at a number of ways traditional practitioners can improve their efficiency as they seek to compete with cyber brokers.
