Abstract: This article serves as an introduction to three case studies illustrating the use of technology in the real estate indus-try. The proliferation of information technology has had a significant impact on the economy and as a result, had a profound influence on the corporate real estate market. Technology has placed new requirements on workplace environments, retail space, and product distribution, but has also opened new opportunities to introduce higher levels of flexibility and efficiency. Information technology has added to the level of service property managers, brokers, and real estate advisors can offer clients and tenants.
