Abstract: Using data provided by a survey of corporate real estate executives, the authors present the problems that occur in marketing idle corporate real estate. Also included are alternate approaches (i.e., sales or leasing ‘as is’, redevelopment, donation) used by executives to solve these problems, an evaluation of the alternatives and consideration of other procedures.
