Fall/Winter 1980, Vol 5, No 2
Abstract: The kinds and quantities of real estate reports required by life insurance companies and savings and loan associations are examined in this article, which is based upon a market survey of the 20 largest life insurance companies and 200 savings and loan associations. Respondents were asked to indicate the extent to which they provide internally for their own reporting needs and to identify the specific types of reports for which they go outside. They were also asked to indicate the time they spend on internal real estate analyses, the types of firms they seek as suppliers of analytic reports, and their methods of client-supplier contact.
