Abstract: This article recommends an initial evaluation of a proposed project to determine the need for an extended and more detailed financial feasibility study. The data required is available at an early stage during the information-gathering phase of market analysis. The conclusion is an important first indicator of the need to invest the time and expense in a more extensive detailed investigation.
