Abstract: A new buzz concept of lease rent analysis appears to be developing. A gathering herd of contingent fee consultants is assembling to serve tenants and landlords in connection with such analysis on a ‘no risk’ contingent fee basis. This article explores why contingent fee analysis is riskier than it might appear and suggests a significant role for fixed fee consultants to assist landlords and tenants with this issue.
