Abstract: Real estate brokerages are often touted as “good” or “bad” depending on their service and communication. A more important and more easily quantifiable measure would be the effect of the brokerage on selling price. Twenty-five brokerages and 366 multifamily residential real property transactions are used to test the effect of the listing broker and the selling broker on selling price.
