Abstract: Real estate education takes at least three general forms: academic education in colleges and universities; professional education from professional organizations, trade associations, and educational programs; and experience garnered from on-the-job training. This article considers these three educational forms and discusses past and present relationships between and among these options. It points out the best interrelationship among these three options and discusses the benefits to the real estate profession that can come from the bonding of these educational options.
