Abstract: As American business is faced with a more litigious environment and the cost of litigation has soared, more interest is being shown in Alternative Dispute Resolution and mediation. In this article, the authors discuss how the counselor may add this component to the practice of real estate consulting or may find the skills learned in mediation training to be of great value in many real estate consultations.
