Abstract: Statistical models of locational and organizational variables, on the likelihood that corporations will relocate their headquarters, show that rapidly growing corporations, are significantly more likely to relocate. Conversely, corporations with headquarters in large metropolitan areas or with a large number of head office employees are significantly less likely to relocate. Also discussed are theoretical issues and some potential commercial applications.
