Abstract: Environmental issues, particularly value impairment from contamination, are relative newcomers to the real estate business. Consequently, the literature on valuation contains little to guide the real estate counselor faced with an unusual environmental problem. This article presents an actual case study which analyzes the various forms contamination damage can take.
