Abstract: This article tells the story of how an alleged asbestos problem became the starting point for a different way of dealing with complex legal issues. The owner/plaintiff sued the manufacturer/defendant for damages and diminished value in its office building. The lessons learned here were that framing the issues differently and by managing how to achieve the right answers, the defendant was successful in its efforts.
