Abstract: For the institutional investor, real estate offers significant investment potential: it represents a dominant share of domestic and foreign capital markets; it is emerging as a major industry; and it is shifting in emphasis from transactions to asset management. These factors affect acquisitions, development and management, and require a strategy to guide the process of real estate investment.
