One of the most entertaining and enlightening observers of the American and global urban scene, Spencer Levy believes the urban meccas that will thrive must possess a combination of three attributes: talent generation through universities, a work-live-play environment, and capital from foreign sources.  He has developed a “cult following” with his discussion of the convergence of economic realities and the global city of the future.

Among the pervasive issues Mr. Levy and Moderator Mario Lefebvre, CRE, will discuss:

  • What role will cities play within the forces of automation and globalization?
  • Which office sub sectors are showing signs of resilience?
  • What economic and real estate indicators are influencing recovery in the top cities around the world?
  • Why are European markets more aggressive than the Americas and Asia Pacific countries in adopting hybrid models of work?
  • Will multifamily remain relatively recession proof?
  • How much stronger will the industrial and logistics sector become?

Experience Mr. Levy’s unique approach to spotting and presenting emerging trends—and Mr. Lefebvre’s witty, yet penetrating, moderating style—in one of the most spirited hours of real estate dialogue this year.
