Anthony Bruzzone, AICP, CTP

Anthony Bruzzone is an Associate Principal in Arup’s San Francisco office, and is a transportation planner. His 38 years of experience includes transit service and operations planning, capital projects and airport experience. Tony most recently managed the $1.7 million study to reassess the feasibility and benefit of connecting Boston’s separate north and south commuter rail services into one system.

Tony’s interests focus on the optimization of transportation operations and the reduction of transportation impacts on the environment, residents, and businesses. At Arup, he provided operations planning analysis during the design of the Salesforce Transit Center, working to optimize transit operations on the bus deck and at the ground level bus plaza.  He also coordinated with Arup’s civil team on the design of the bus ramp and bridge that connects STC with the Bay Bridge.

Prior to working with Arup, Tony was AC Transit’s Manager of Service and Operations Planning where he coordinated day-to-day operations planning needs, coordinated and managed various bus corridor studies and was liaison for San Francisco’s $2 billion Salesforce Transit Center project.
