Austin Perez  is Senior Policy Representative for Insurance Issues with the National Association of REALTORS®. In this role, Austin is NAR’s public policy expert on federal insurance matters including flood insurance. He is also staff director to NAR’s member insurance committee, which develops the Association’s positions on insurance and related public policies. Austin joined NAR in 2008 after lobbying six years at the American Farm Bureau on environmental, labor and immigration issues.

Gary Sullivan is Sr. Director, Emerging Risks, for the American Property Casualty Insurance Association. In his role Gary is responsible for developing public policy, managing issues and serving as liaison to the enterprise risk management and surplus lines committees as well as InsurTech, drone, innovation, and guarantee fund member groups. He serves the information needs of the association and membership related to commercial insurance, emerging risks, enterprise risk management, cybersecurity and insurance, guarantee funds, and surplus lines issues.
