Leo Civelli is at present CEO of REAG European Operations and of Duff & Phelps REAG S.p.A. In this position he is responsible for the direction, coordination and supervision of various real estate related assignments and for the business development of real estate consulting services. He joined American Appraisal (now Duff & Phelps) in 1984 as senior appraiser and he was later promoted real estate manager. Mr. Civelli has extensive experience in managing multibillion euro spin off operations and appraising income producing properties as hotels, shopping centers, retail and service stores, rural properties, resort facilities. He is also experienced in the valuation of major industrial properties, such as warehousing and manufacturing. In 1988 and 1990 he worked as project manager for major privatization programs in Portugal and Hungary. He performed appraisal services in many countries including U.S., Brazil, Canada, Eastern European countries, Albania and EEC countries. Prior to joining American Appraisal, Mr. Civelli worked with internationally known civil contractor firms providing quantity surveying and project management, gaining significant experience also in several African countries He is a member of various national and international appraisal organizations and is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS). He is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and a lecturer at Real Estate Master Courses of the Universities of Milan and Turin.
