between the airport and The Fairmont Olympic Hotel?
Taxis are plentiful in Seattle; available on the third floor of
the Parking Garage at the airport and at the front entrance of the
hotel. Sedans, station wagons and large vans are available.
The rates from the airport to the hotel are a metered fare, roughly
$40 - $50 per ride (subject to change).
The rates from the Hotel to airport are a flat rate of $32 per car
(subject to change).
The average travel time is 20 minutes. Times provided depend on
the traffic conditions and the time of day or night.
Airport Shuttles are also available as an alternative to cabs.
The Gray Line runs every 30 minutes and the cost is $11 per person
per way. You should proceed from baggage claim to the transportation
center for shuttle service. This is a shared ride service.
To return to the Airport from the Hotel, the hotel concierge can
assist you in purchasing a shuttle ticket back to the airport. They
will advise you of a time for pickup in the lobby of the Hotel.
Private sedan and stretch limousine services are available through
the hotel concierge service. Please contact them through the hotel
at (206) 621-1700, ext. 3100. Sedans are roughly $94 and include
tax, gratuity and fuel charge. Limo’s are roughly $125 and
include tax, gratuity and fuel charge.
Light Rail Service to and from the airport is also available; please
follow the signs in the airport to the Light Rail. The cost is $2.50
per person. The stop to get off is University Street at 3rd Ave.
Please proceed up University Avenue, the hotel sits on University
avenue between 4th and 5th Avenue. The average time is 20 minutes.

From I-5 South:
• Take exit 165B (Union Street) and drive two blocks to 5th
Avenue
• Turn left onto 5th Avenue and drive two blocks to Seneca
Street
• Turn right onto Seneca Street and drive one block to 4th
Avenue
• Turn right onto 4th Avenue and drive one block to University
Street
• Turn right onto University Street (The Fairmont Olympic
Hotel will be on the right)
• Note: When driving south, do not to enter the Express Lanes.
From I-5 North / SeaTac Airport:
• As you approach downtown Seattle, move into the left lane
• Take exit 165 (Seneca Street)
• From the stop light, continue straight two blocks moving
to the right lane
• Turn right onto 4th Avenue
• Drive one block to University Street and turn right (The
Fairmont Olympic Hotel will be on the right)
From I-520 West:
• Take the exit for I-5 South (Portland), continue on I-5
South
• Take exit 165B (Union Street) and drive two blocks to 5th
Avenue
• Turn left onto 5th Avenue and drive two blocks to Seneca
Street
• Turn right onto Seneca Street and drive one block to 4th
Avenue
• Turn right onto 4th Avenue and drive one block to University
Street
• Turn right onto University Street (The Fairmont Olympic
Hotel will be on the right)
From I-90 West:
• Merge onto I-5 North (Vancouver) and immediately move into
to the far right lane
• Follow signs for the Convention Place/Madison Street exit
and merge onto 7th Avenue
• Turn left at Madison Street, drive three blocks to 4th Avenue
• Turn right onto 4th Avenue, drive three blocks to University
Street
• Turn right onto University Street (The Fairmont Olympic
Hotel will be on the right)
Self-park is available at The Olympic Garage, located at the corner
of 5th Avenue and Seneca Street. Hotel garage is $26 for 24 hours
($31 with in/out privileges) and $36 for Valet Parking available
at the Grand Motor Entrance of the hotel.
