Event: Chicago Skyline Dinner Cruise†
Sponsored
by the Midwest Chapter
A frequent saying in
Chicago is that the best way to see the city's many architectural
wonders is to see them from the water! To that end, the Monday
evening event at Midyear will be a skyline dinner cruise on
one of Chicago's newest cruise line -- Kanan Cruises. The private
cruise will begin with a half hour reception to allow attendees
to explore the vessel, or relax in the beautiful piano lounge
complete with grand piano, comfortable leather sectionals, plasma
screen TV's and cocktail tables around a fabulously appointed
mahogany bar. Wine and appetizers will be served as guests settle
in. After everyone is on board the vessel will set sail for
a two and a half hour cruise along the shore of Lake Michigan
with the spectacular Chicago skyline as the backdrop. A buffet
dinner will be served. The vessel has four enclosed decks which
are heated, with indoor and outdoor seating. |
