High Level Conference
A Clash of Cultures: Understanding
Life in the Global Village
July 13 - 16, 2006
The
Canyons Grand Summit Hotel - Park City, Utah
The Counselors of Real Estate High Level Conference is an extraordinary
educational event unique to the real estate industry. The conference
program examines critical issues of national and global importance
and delivers high level, enriching education for members of the
real estate community. However, it is not a real estate-specific
conference.
"A Clash of Cultures: Understanding Life in the Global Village"
This year's conference will reflect on an inter-connected world
that grows smaller every day. The forces of global travel, satellite
communications, trans-national companies, and cyberspace cross pollinate
world cultures at a breakneck speed. Fortunately, such cultural
interchange can produce synergy, creativity, and exciting benefits
for humankind. Tragedy, however, can also be an end result.
How do we respond to the challenge of living in such a complex world
when technology and commerce evolve at a much faster pace than cultural
values and traditions?
The 2006 High Level Conference program will explore four broad themes
that relate to our ever increasingly connected world: security,
commerce, multi-culturalism, and human values.
