Kennedy Addresses Business Groups on MBA Programs
Loren S. Kennedy, CRE, principal, Kennedy Advisors, LLC, Raleigh, N.C., has been addressing business groups in the Research Triangle area about “What’s Missing in our M.B.A. Programs?” Speaking recently to three area groups (the National Association of Corporate Directors, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Expense Reduction Analysts), Kennedy says that while most M.B.A. programs across the country cover a broad scope of finance, accounting and tax issues, most fall short in discussing the implications of public finance and incentives that would favorably impact many major corporate decisions. Kennedy says more M.B.A. programs should address economic development statutes that are largely targeted at private sector companies contemplating capital investments and hiring spurts. - Loren Kennedy, CRE

Utter urged the Denver business and real estate community to focus on making the city’s job centers mixed-use, walkable and connected to Denver’s FasTracks (rail) initiative. - Marilee Utter, CRE
