McIntosh Moves to Rialto Capital Management
Julie M. McIntosh,
CRE, has moved to Rialto
Capital Management,
Atlanta, as senior
vice president. In her
new position, McIntosh
will be responsible for
the resolution of nonperforming
loans in a $3 billion portfolio acquired
from the FDIC. Rialto is a real
estate investment management company
focused on distressed real estate
asset investment, management
and workouts.

Rabianski Co-Authors New Book

book entitled Shopping
Center Appraisal and
Analysis published by the Appraisal Institute,
and co-authored an article for
Real Estate Law Journal entitled “Salvage

Daniel Rose, CRE,

City, has been awarded
the annual W.E.B. Du
Bois Medal of Harvard
University's W.E.B. Du
Bois Institute for his role in Black education
in America. The W.E.B. Du
Bois Institute is the nation’s oldest
research center dedicated to the
study of the history, culture and social
institutions of Africans and
African Americans.

Tessler Co-Chairs Task Force
Martin Tessler, CRE,
vice president/Credit
Risk Management, Amalgamated
Bank, New
York City, is serving as
co-chair of the of the
Core/Neighborhood
Committee of the Manhattan
Borough President's Task Force on
New York University's (NYU) 2031
Plan. The committee covers the academic
and administrative core of
NYU's Washington Square campus
and the wider neighborhood environment.
The Task Force was created in
2006 to involve surrounding residential
communities in vetting NYU’s proposals
for the 2031 Plan, which
include adding six million square feet
of space to accommodate the school’s
needs by its 200th anniversary.
